Launch of the “Feel the Taste of Your Native Language” media campaign
Kyiv residents came to the Maidan with poems and songs about their native language — pupils of seven schools and lyceums, poets and Radio Kultura.
The nationwide radio and TV campaign started on the Day of Ukrainian Language and Writing. Participants brought poems, songs and sayings about their native language, and a loaf of palianytsia shared in the centre of the capital helped everyone “taste” it.
Listeners of the third national radio channel Kultura followed the event live, interviews with the youngest participants aired on Molode Radio, and 5 Kanal covered it. The international media movement “Clean Channels” started at the same time.
