Nationwide flash campaign “Book Wave”

The campaign was initiated by the Caravan’s committee and run by local coordinators — libraries, schools, active citizens: in Kyiv on Khreshchatyk by the Znannia bookshop, in Hadiach through the town streets with the Lesia Ukrainka district library, in Simferopol in the Children’s Park with UNESCO Associated School No. 14. 5 Kanal broadcast the Kyiv wave live.

The original site lists photo reports from eight cities: Kyiv, Hadiach, Simferopol, Poltava, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi and Donetsk. “Books are rivers that water the whole universe with grace” (Yaroslav the Wise).
