“Year of International Friendly Contact”
The news agency declared 2017 a year of friendly contact: to announce only those events that work towards bringing people together, education and peace.
The announcement was printed in Esperanto, the working language of the Caravan’s international committee. It listed what the agency undertook to write about that year: apps for meeting people and learning languages, the international calendar of events, notable teaching initiatives, people who talk about Esperanto well, music studios and publishers, films and video. Starting 10 January 2017.
