First press conference of the Caravan organizing committee
The organisers presented to the press the idea of the Round-the-World Caravan “Interkultura” — an Olympiad of cultures without competition.
Within the UN and UNESCO project “Decade for a Culture of Peace”, the committee presented the Caravan publicly for the first time: parades of festivals, concerts and exhibitions in city squares, lectures and master classes, round tables and press conferences planned to travel through 112 countries.
