The president of the Washington Esperanto Association and a specialist of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission — on language, travel and discrimination.
Jim Ryan works for the Commission that counters discrimination in hiring on the grounds of race, colour, sex, national (including linguistic) origin, disability or age. He came to Ukraine inspired by a meeting with the singer Ruslana.
