“GHETTO — Theatre of the Absurd” action
A campaign of the NABAT 2020 movement in defence of the cultural fabric of Kyiv — a sequel to the theatrical procession in August.
In the autumn of 2007 the NABAT 2020 movement continued what had begun with the theatrical procession of 24 August: a public defence of Kyiv’s cultural environment against the eviction of galleries, studios and museums from their rented premises.
Of the action itself the archive keeps only the name and the date, in the navigation of the movement’s pages. A page describing it was either never made or has not survived. So there is no programme, no report and no photographs here: the site shows what actually remains.
